We are helping a Girl Scout with her Silver Award project Sign posts will be installed from Linden St north along the Nassau-Suffolk Trail to Bethpage State Park. Need people to help with the following tasks: 1) Hold RED flags to warn bikers that a work crew is ahead on the mulituse path. 2) Operate the two man auger to dig 15 holes. Requires 4-6 people to operate in releaf teams 3) Pole placers - two teams to place the pole in the holes, backfill and level. Teams to leap frog each other. 3-4 per team 4) Sign installers - Girls scout will do most of this but requires assistance. BRING water, lunch, safety goggles, insect repellent.
