Upcoming Trail Project - Friday, 4/28/17

A message from project coordinator Ed Quinn  (email:  alq...@optonline.net):

Ask the volunteers to report to the Heckscher State Park office at 9:15 am.  We are dropping off wood chips to the outside to stop the spread of the phragmites and promote the grass in the middle of the trail to keep growing in tick alley. Then with some power tools to we are also to hit the area with weed whackers and hedge trimmers.  Field number 6 and the park office phone number is 631 581 2100
