Stack trace switching over to Hikari Datasource

In the process of converting applications over to HikariCP from BonesCP and Tomcat JDBC. Had success converting an application using HikariConfig and another user Hikari Datasource within Tomcat but the next app on my list is failing with below which works fine using a Tomcat JDBC datasource.

Is there a way I can get additional info to figure out what key properties are missing?

While HIkariCP is the datasource, this error has nothing to do with HikariCP.  You'll notice "com.zaxxer.hikari" appears not where in the stacktrace.  I recommend asking on stackoverflow or over on the Spring forums, as it seems Spring framework related to me.
