J Aakhir 1437 starts at Fajr on Thursday (10th March)

​ wa Rahmathullaahi Wa Barakaathu hu ​

Yesterday - Tuesday 22 nd Jammaath

​u​

l Awwal  ( 01 March) at Fajr the moon was having 

a slight bulge at the middle.

On Wednesday (today)  it was  half and was seen overhead.

By constant observation of moon we know that  Tomorrow   ie. Thursday - 24th day of  

Jammaath

​u​

l  Awwal (03 March) the  line will  cave in

​considerably ​

and the horns too 

will be prominent as well as distinct  giving it a shape of a big  Crescent. 

Since the moon attains the shape of a big crescent,  in the Last Quarter on a  Thursday, 

 the following  Thursday  (10th March)   will be the 1st of  Jammaathil Aakhir 1437.

If one keeps on watching the moon at Fajr in coming days one can see the moon becoming 

thinner and thinner and its position coming  closer and closer to Eastern horizon, day  by day.

On coming Tuesday the 29th of  Jammaath

​u​

l Awwal  (08 March) one can see "Al urjoon 

Al qadeem" described in Noble Qur'aan in verse 36:39 as the last visible waning moon  

for a month.

The next day - Wednesday the WANING moon will not be seen anywhere in the world 

as it is the Day of Conjunction or the last day of Jammaathil Awwal 1437.

On that Wednesday (30 th Jammaathil  Awwal) there occurs a Total Solar Eclipse too at 01:54 UT.
As per Sharia,  Solar eclipses which occur only on the Days  of Conjunction, mark the end of  Hijri 

months.

Any keen observer will vouch that there will be 29 visible phases , making it a month of 30 days 

- from Tuesday to Wednesday.

​Many countries including Saudi Arabia & ISNA/FCNA started this month on Wednesday​ and

​they have to end the month on their 29th day because of the Solar Eclipse.  

Many other countries including Australia started J. Aakhir only on Thursday and for them the Solar

Eclipse will fall on their 28th day !!!!  

An Islamic month will not have 30 days for some, 29 days for some others and 28 days for majority !!!

 It is obvious that many Muslims are in error and it is 

regrettable  

that no one realises the 

folly

​.  They are ​

 committing the error again and again.

As you  all are  aware, Eclipse is a Sign of Almighty Allaah and HE the Almighty has warned 

those who are ignorant of His Signs with severe punishment. May Almighty Allaah forgive 

all of us. Aameen.

l Aakhir 1437 starts from Fajr of Thursday (10 th March) for all throughout  

the world.


We request all to observe all the phases of the moon throughout the year especially those of 

Sha'baan as it was the   Sunnah of Rasool ( Sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam ) .

May Almighty Allaah forgive all our sins and may HE the Almighty provide all of us with a place 

in Jannathul Firdouse. Aameen
