(BISMILAAHI R'RAHMAANI R'RAHEEM) Dear Brothers & Sisters Assalaamu alaikkum wa Rahmathullaahi wa Barakaathu hu As usual, on Friday (4th Dec) too the moon was observed. At Fajr the horns were not prominent nor distinct. I On Saturday (5th Dec ) at Fajr the horns were prominent as well as distinct. The moon attained the shape of a big crescent, in the Last Quarter, on a Saturday. Hence the following Saturday (12 Dec) will be the 1st of Rabbiul Awwal 1437. Please keep on watching the moon in coming days. One can see the moon becoming thinner and thinner and closer and closer to Eastern horizon, day by day. On coming Thursday (10 Dec) one can see "Al urjoon Al qadeem" described in Noble Qur'aan in verse 36:39 as the last visible moon phase for a month. On Friday (11th Dec) the waning moon will not be seen anywhere in the world as it is the Day of Conjunction or the last day of Safar 1437. It is also the 30th day of Safar 1437. All are requested to observe all the phases of the moon throughout the year especially those of Sha'baan as it was the Sunnah of Rasool (Sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam ). . May Almighty Allaah forgive all our sins and may HE the Almighty provide all of us with a place in Jannathul Firdouse. Aameen Wa salaam HIJRI COMMITTEE OF INDIA | |
