Wednesday (14 Nov) is 1st of Muharram 1434

Dear Brothers & Sisters

Assalaamu Alaikkum Wa Rahmathullaahi wa Barakaathu hu

Today (Tuesday) is 22nd of Zul Hijjah, according to the moon-phases / as per Quran 2:189.

The moon is almost half and tomorrow (Wednesday) it will lose the straight line and it will curve a bit inside or in other words it will take the shape of  big crescent.  This Big crescent forming on a Wednesday confirms that the next Wednesday will be the 1st of the new month, in this case,  Muharram 1434.

We request all especially Br. Omar Afzal and Br. Sultan Alam to watch the moon today and tomorrow from USA  & Pakistan respetively and let us know whether the moon attains the shape of a Big Crescent with well-defined horns on Wednesday or not.

Likewise, one can keep on watching the moon from today at Fajr time and can notice that, by each day,  the shape is becoming thinner and thinner and the position coming closer and closer to the horizon.  On Monday (12th Nov) at fajr, one can see the "Urj Oonil Qadeem" described in Quran 36:39 as the last visible phase of the moon, so thin and so close to the horizon that anyone can be assured that no phase of the moon will be seen the following day. 

On Tuesday (13th Nov), the hilaal will not be seen anywhere in the world.  Tuesday is the Day of Conjunction / the Day of  Total Solar Eclipse. Hence the last day of the month.  You may recall the famous Fatwa of Dr. Yusuf Qaradawi which says that Solar eclipse marks the end of a month.

So, on Wednesday (14 Nov) the New Year 1434 starts for all Muslims.

Those who started the month of Zul Hijjah on Wednesday and those on Thursday are requested to repent and ask for forgiveness in committing "Nassie" which is "ziadathun fil kufr" (Quran 9:37).

If they are not correcting their dates of Zul Hijjah, they will again commit "nassie" as Muharram too is a Sacred month. It should be started on Wednesday itself and if anyone starts it on Thursday or on Friday, again repeats the "nassie".  ITHAQULLAH !!!!

We are quoting the relevant part of a recent mail from one of our brothers:

"There shall not cease to remain a single group from my community upon the Truth, victorious; they are unharmed by those who abandon them and those who oppose them. They will remain (in my community and in such a state) until they fight the liar (i.e. the Anti-Christ (Dajjal)."   [Reported in Sahih Muslim]

"My Ummah will not unite upon error." [Reported by at-Tirmidhee and Haakim – Sahih]

From the above two hadeeth, it is understood that the Whole Ummah will not be in error  and that at any point of time there will always be a group from the Ummah who will up-hold True Islam.  

Ourselves(HCI, Russia & Turkey) had Eid on Thursday. Some celebrated Eid on Friday and the rest on Saturday.

Those who had Eid on Friday will have to end their month of Zul Hijjah on Tuesday (13 Novemeber 2012) the Day of Solar Eclipse with 28 days and those who had Eid on Saturday, with only 27 days.

Authentic hadeeth says that the month has a minimum of 29 days. So, all those who had Eid on Friday and Saturday have gone against an authentic hadeeth as they had 28 or 27 days only and they all have also committed "Nassie". In fact the majority were in error and only a minority remained upholding True Islam.

Only the small group which had Eid on Thursday will complete Zul Hijjah 1433 with prescribed 29 days and constituted the group mentioned in the hadeeth:  "There shall not cease to remain a single group from my community upon the Truth, victorious; they are unharmed by those who abandon them and those who oppose them. They will remain (in my community and in such a state) until they fight the liar (i.e. the Anti-Christ (Dajjal)."   [Reported in Sahih Muslim].

ALHUMDULILLAH !!!! SUBHAANALLAH  !!!! ALLAAHU AKBAR  !!!!!
