Dear Brothers & Sisters

Assalaamu Alaikkum Wa Rahmathullaahi wa Barakaathu hu

Given below is the relevant parts of a mail which we feel is worth reading because of some very important points.

Br. Shaan is referring to the Khuraib incident, which is not at all a  hadeeth !  When our discussion is based on Quran and authentic hadeeth, why he should bring this incident???

You would have noticed that he is not bringing in the Quran verses into the discussion ?? Why?? Quran very clearly re-butts his contentions point-blank.  So, he is hanging on to this Khuraib INCIDENT.

He is also not reading the Tafsir Ibn Kathir in Arabic. Instead he is referring to the English version which is an abridged one, available on the net and argues unnecessarily based on this English abridged version !!!  If he could read the explanation on "Surrah As Shams" in the Original Arabic text or get it read by someone he will be surprised when he comes across the Astronomical facts which the Sahaba (RA) knew at that time.

In his last mail he has quoted the following hadeeths:

"There shall not cease to remain a single group from my community upon the Truth, victorious; they are unharmed by those who abandon them and those who oppose them. They will remain (in my community and in such a state) until they fight the liar (i.e. the Anti-Christ (Dajjal)."   [Reported in Sahih Muslim]

"My Ummah will not unite upon error." [Reported by at-Tirmidhee and Haakim – Sahih]

He writes :  " So from the ayath it is clear that, Islam is complete 1400 years back when the verse 5:3 was revealed on the day of Arafa in Hajjathul wida. So nothing needs to 

be added to it and nothing needs to be removed from it. It is perfect as it is based on the revelation from the Almighty Allah.

Secondly from the above ahadees of Prophet(sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) it is clear that at any point of time there will be a group of Muslims who will be on the true path.  i.e. Muslim Ummah wont be in manifest error in any matter of the deen at any point of time."

I am happy that he himself quoted these hadeeths which proves that  at any point of time there will be a group of Muslims who will be on the true path.

Ourselves(HCI, Russia & Turkey) had Eid on Thursday. Saudi Arabia, Kerala Salafis (they differ with Salafis of Saudi Arabia) celebrated Eid on Friday and Rest of India, Pakistan etc on Saturday.

Those who had Eid on Friday will have to end their month of Zul Hijjah on Tuesday (13 Novemeber 2012) the Day of Solar Eclipse with 28 days and those who had Eid on Saturday, with only 27 days.

Authentic hadeeth says that the month has a minimum of 29 days. So, all those who had Eid on Friday and Saturday have gone against an authentic hadeeth as they had 28 or 27 days  and they all have committed "Nassie". In fact the majority were in error and only a minority remained upholding True Islam.

Only the small group which had Eid on Thursday will complete Zul Hijjah with prescribed 29 days and constituted the group mentioned in the hadeeth:  "There shall not cease to remain a single group from my community upon the Truth, victorious; they are unharmed by those who abandon them and those who oppose them. They will remain (in my community and in such a state) until they fight the liar (i.e. the Anti-Christ (Dajjal)."   [Reported in Sahih Muslim].

ALHUMDULILLAH !!!! SUBHAANALLAH  !!!! ALLAAHU AKBAR  !!!!!        

I was also told that he asked for evidence to prove that the Hijri month was started on the basis of Conjunction.

Umar (RA) started the Hijri Calendar with 1-1-1 as Thursday and on the previous day, Wednesday there was a Solar Eclipse. This was recorded by Al Biruni.   He should be aware that the Solar eclipse occurs on the last day / Day of Conjunction.

We all know that it was during the period of Umar's (RA) Caliphate the Hijri Calendar was formulated.  That was with retrospect effect of about nearly 12-13 years.   They (RA) knew that on the day of Eclipse/conjunction no hilaal will be seen.  

So, the very first month of the Hijri Calendar was started on the next day of  Conjunction and not by seeing the hilaal.

Sheik Albani has rightly said that for a Truth seeker one evidence is enough. But for a person with "hawa", even thousands will not suffice !!!!!!!!.

We have conveyed him the evidences from Quran and authentic hadeeth.  It is upto him to take it or leave it or follow those leaders who did not fast, last year, on the correct Eid Day, but made the followers fast and thus made them commit haraam.

Our job is just to convey the Truth.

Allah is Sufficient for us.
