So I used the repair assistant for my soft bricked phone and everything was going well until it got to 100%. The app. then turned off my phone and gave me the message to enable MTP USB mode on my phone which will now not turn on. So I am now sitting here stuck while my comp repeatedly connects and disconnects to my phone (which won't turn on) looking at the message on Repair Assistant that says "Repairing. Don't disconnect yet."
Have been trying to fix this issue with my phone for a couple days now and thought I had a breakthrough. If anyone can assist with how to proceed it would be appreciated since I am now at a loss... Thanks for hard bricking my phone repair assistant?
Unfortunately, it was still on lollipop when i got it, so i immediately updated the software through OTA. When the update finished, i turned off the phone and then booted to recovery mode. It wouldn't go through to the recovery mode, instead i get a message: "Software Update Failed...Your device didn't update successfully. Use the Verizon Software Repair Assistant on a computer to repair your device and complete the update."
So, i removed the battery and then tried to boot up the phone normally, unfortunately, it gave me the same message. So, i went to a computer shop (because i don't have a pc) and then downloaded the Verizon Software Repair Assistant from this link: -us.samsung.com/VerizonSoftwareUpdateWin installed it, connected my phone to the computer and clicked on start repair. When it gets to about 85%, it just wouldn't push through. The repair process wouldn't finish because it says the phone is disconnected or something. I've tried it numerous times and it just doesn't push through.
I have sasmung galaxy s3 model name: SCH-I535. I was in process of downgrading it through odin, But odin fail the test and my phone is currently locked, It is showing that Firmware Encountered an issue. Please use software repair assistant and try again. I downloaded it, but it is not recognizing my device. It is showing that reconnect your device. I have reconnected my device several times. But no progress on it.
Super similar with my S23 ultra. Calls and texts are fine. Running apps is fine. Anything that needs internet (i.e. data or wifi) to load or run, it loads for an extremely long time and a fair amount of times it doesn't load at all. I have reset networks I have removed and put back the sim more than once along with restarting my phone. The only "solution" per Verizon techs, left to try is the software upgrade/repair assistant. I am able to download and install it. I can run it but it stays on the 1st screen instructing me to connect my device. It is connected or the software wouldn't have installed. I have disconnected and reconnected, throw a restart for the PC as well as my S23 a few times. Different power cords. Different USB options. Nothing is letting the program recognize that my device is connected. I can do other things while it is connected like open explorer and browse my files so the PC is recognizing it, just not the software. Please, please help me. Going out of my mind not having a functioning phone!

I was using the Upgrade Assistant to update my Samsung Galaxy s9, but my PC logged itself out after inactivity and it messed up the update. The upgrade assistant recommended the repair tool and when it tries to repair my device, the app claims to nit be connected to the internet. I got on my laptop to try to repair my device, but when it hits 83% the upgrade assistant states that the device disconnected. Pressing and holding the volume keys and the power key restart the device, but it immediately goes to this page once again.
