My THC only follows the plate/surface if there are slopes going down, but the head of the torch will hits with the plate/surface if there are slopes rising up (and for sure having a short circuit), can you tell me how to fix it?

Thank you uk8amk for you reply. I have rotated the potentiometer counterclockwise (maximum sensitivity), it started to go up when the plate have higher bumps or altitudes, very slow speed, but at least there is some response now.

One time we received lifter for flame cutting. It had very slow moving in auto and manual modes. Seller said that fast lifters are for plasma and slow for flame. Possibly you have got very slow lifter for flame.
