Wouldn't it be great if JS developers can get highlight.js using bower install. This would fit right into the modern front end development workflow.

Great, you don't use it - so the hundreds of thousand of installs Nodejs and NPM show per day are immediately invalidated because of your past experience and care-free attitude towards process improvement. Just what we need - when can I hire you for a project?
