Subject: Cancellation of Tonight's D7 Candidate Forum



I posted the D7 Candidate Forum flyer on the South End Community Board and yesterday, the Councilor texted me that because of a venue/booking issue at RCC, the event has to be postponed/cancelled. I posted that cancellation notice and heard back from both Said and Mavrick that they were grateful to have heard from me. 

I do not have the emails of the other candidates invited to tonight's event, but want to be sure that someone reaches out to them to let them know the event is postponed. Can anyone else make sure that we extend the courtesy of advising the invited candidates of this late venue problem? Angie, if this has not already happened, can you also please send a message to the full Advisory Council of this chamnge so no one shows up at RCC tonight.

Just trying to close the loop on this and make sure that everyone gets advance notification. 

We should also probably plan, as an Advisory Council, to meet to determine how we want to handle both the now postponed/cancelled D7 Candidate Forum and the Mayoral Forum (and when) fairly soon right after the July 4 holiday.
