 Dear City Councilors,

I am writing to you today to urge you to vote in favor of passage for Docket # 0433.  This 17F request for information has been filed by Councilor Julia Mejia in her efforts to have questions answered regarding the impact of the White Stadium proposal on the BPS budget.

There are many questions that need to be answered and taxpayers are demanding more information.  In order for Councilor Mejia to properly oversee the education committee and for taxpayer transparency, we ask that you pass this 17F request.  Taxpayers are tired of having their taxes climb while the BPS budget faces a $53 million dollar deficit, school closures, and teacher layoffs.  How has the plan to rebuild White Stadium - now at a cost of $135 million to taxpayers - affected the BPS capital and operating budgets?   We need answers now.

I am certain that ALL city councilors will want to have these questions answered and allow for more transparency for their constituents.
We the people, tax paying constituents of the city of Boston, demand transparency and accountability!

Thank you,

Rodney Singleton
