Amendment 5 is on the November 6th ballot—early voting begins tomorrow. If Amendment 5 passes, Metro Council members’ term limits will increase from two four-year terms to three four-year terms. In other words, CURRENT Council members who are completing their second and final term would be eligible to run for a THIRD term.
