High JInx Street Performances: Two Planning Meetings

As I write this I look out the window to a beautiful day in Baltimore and I think to myself, gee, I hope everyone is out on their stoop playing their saws and slide whistles.

This thursday at 7:30pm there will be a planning and ideas meeting for this year's High Jinx events
Meeting is at the Red Room/Normals book store. 425 E. 31ST St. Baltimore, MD. 21218

Also on August 30th there will be a 2nd planning meeting at the Bank on the west side (2013 Frederick ave.)

For those unfamiliar, High Jinx is a series of widely-varied street performances concurrent with the High
Zero festival. It is loosely organized and largely created by the individual performers who wish to participate.

These 2 meetings are for sharing performance ideas about music, sound, public installations and street theater;
for organizing performers; for improving documentation of events as they happen; and for finding people to promote and spread the word.

1st Meeting is this Thursday August 16th at 7:30pm at The Red Room 425 E. 31st  St.
2nd Meeting is Thursday August 30th at 7:30 at The Bank 2013 Fredrick Ave.
