The Hamner Institutes for Health Sciences is seeking an enthusiastic
and innovative individual to participate in research involving the
identification and characterization of cellular signaling pathways
related to the toxic response to environmental chemicals and
pharmaceuticals. The successful candidate will perform a series of
high content imaging, cell-based screens across a diverse selection of
chemical compounds in cell line and primary cell models. Funding for
the position is supported through 2011 with a possibility of
extension.
A Bachelors or Masters degree in biology or related scientific
discipline plus relevant molecular biology, cell culture, and assay
development experience in a screening or drug discovery environment
and high content imaging are required.
