The Jagiellonian University has signed an agreement that allows Jagiellonian University employees, postgraduates and students to use MAXQDA 2022 Analytics Pro software. The license is valid until January 5, 2025.
MAXQDA is a package for qualitative and mixed-methods research. It is one of the most comprehensive applications in this area, used by thousands of researchers in more than 150 countries around the world.
MAXQDA supports data collection, organization, analysis, visualization and publication. The program enables multiple methodologies, including grounded theory, literature review, market research exploration and qualitative content analysis.
When purchased, MAXQDA Analytics Pro allows for qualitative, quantitative and statistical data analysis.
The license purchased by the Jagiellonian University authorizes the use of MAXQDA Analytics Pro software by Jagiellonian University employees, doctoral candidates and students.
The software can be used on both business and home computers. In order to use the software, both during installation and during subsequent use of the program, a permanent connection to the Internet is required. This is due to the need for constant access to the license server. The lack of such a connection makes it impossible to use the software.
When you run PulseSecure for the first time, you need to create a profile (by clicking the "+" button, i.e. "Add Connection") and then entering MAXQDA in the "Name" field and " " (without the quotation marks) in the "Server URL" field. After entering the given values, click the "Add" button to save the profile. Each time you start PulseSecure next time, the MAXQDA profile will be visible in the PulseSecure program window.
In case your computer is connected to the Internet outside of the UJ network, you should run PulseSecure each time before running MAXQDA Analytics Pro software and log in to your MAXQDA profile by clicking the "Connect" button and using as username your full email address in the domain @uj.edu.pl, @doctoral.uj.edu.pl or @student.uj.edu.pl and as password by entering the password for the specified email account.

Das RRZE hat fr MAXQDA Analytics Pro (Vollversion) einen 5-Jahres-Campusvertrag geschlossen, der fr Beschftigte und Studierende der FAU als Netzwerkversion unbegrenzt zur Verfgung steht. Beschftigte und Studierende der beiden Regionalpartner-Hochschulen Coburg und TH Nrnberg knnen die MAXQDA-Netzwerklizenzen ebenso ber das RRZE beziehen.
Die RRZE-Kontaktpersonen der Einrichtungen der FAU und an den Regionalpartner-Hochschulen sind fr die Beschaffung der dienstlichen Lizenzen fr ihre Bereiche zustndig (siehe Hinweise zum Bezug von Lizenzen fr Beschftigte).
Besondere Verpflichtungen gelten hinsichtlich der Foxit PDF SDK, die integrierter Bestandteil von MAXQDA ist: Die geistigen Eigentumsrechte der PDF SDK liegen bei Foxit. Der Kunde ist nicht berechtigt, einzelne Bestandteile oder die Gesamtheit der Foxit PDF SDK auerhalb von MAXQDA zu nutzen, anderen zugnglich zu machen, zu modifizieren, oder zu rekonstruieren.
MAXQDA AI Assist ist mit Auslaufen der Beta-Version im November 2023 und mit dem Update auf MAXQDA 2024 nicht mehr verfgbar. Aufgrund schwerwiegender Datenschutzrisiken ist die Nutzung fr alle Hochschulangehrigen aktuell nicht mglich.
Das Add-on ist nur dann zusammen mit der aktuellen Version von MAXQDA-Pro (macOS, Windows) zu verwenden, wenn es seitens der Hochschule freigeschaltet ist. MAXQDA-Nutzende erhalten aktuell wegen der fehlenden Freischaltung eine Fehlermeldung, wenn sie den Aktivierungscode anfordern.
PC-Arbeitspltze der FAU, die ber die automatische Softwareverteilung und Fernwartung des RRZE (WinSV fr Windows-Gerte, Management von macOS/iOS-Gerten) versorgt werden, erhalten stets die neuesten on-premise Softwareprodukte.
Schritt 1: Registrieren unter teamcloud.maxqda.de/register/ und ein Konto wird angelegt. Sie erhalten daraufhin eine Besttigungs-E-Mail. Mit einem Klick auf den Besttigungsbutton schlieen Sie die Registrierung Ihres Accounts ab.
TeamCloud ist eine personalisierte Lizenz, das heit, die Lizenz ist an die nutzende Person und ihre dienstliche E-Mail-Adresse gebunden. Die Verwendung der Software MAXQDA TeamCloud ist auf die Dauer der vom RRZE erworbenen MAXQDA Analytics Pro-Lizenz (Hauptlizenz) beschrnkt.
Fr fachlichen Support und Anwendungsfragen zu MAXQDA-Software sind die reichhaltigen Ressourcen des Herstellers empfehlenswert. MAXQDA Produkt-Support mit zahlreichen Dokumentationen und Ressourcen zur jeweils aktuellen Version ist ebenfalls verfgbar.
