Dear Resident
The City of Cape town has receive an application for the rental of a section of Excelsior Street park for the erection of a cell phone base station mast opposite residents homes.
Peruse subjoiner mail for motivation and proposal
It is herewith requested that ALL residents to object to this application. ( Note that tomorrow they may want to erect a mast opposite your premises)
Some of the reason for the objection are -
visual impact - detracts and impacts on the park which has been zoned as a PUBLIC OPEN SPACE
encroachment on activities on the park - The park is a public open space and should be treated as such . Trees have been planted on the park to provide aesthetic appeal
and for the residents' pleasure. The erection of the cell phone mast will infringe and impact on the visual and mental well being.
basis for the objection
lack of action will result in the erection of the the tower which will have a lasting impact on property values and the communities wellbeing
