Improve your Health & Fitness

Happy Summer Time! True enjoyment comes from activity of the mind and exercise of the body, so Be Active at least 30 minutes each day!  Take advantage of these opportunities in Southwest Seattle to help you stay active this July.

 

Be Active Together offers exercise classes each week for FREE (unless indicated).

Women-only Fitness at Greenbridge

Abs workout, yoga and fun moves with Jen R. Ages 12 and up.

Wiley Community Center-9800 8th Ave SW Suite 104.

Women-only Fitness at High Point Community Center

Abs workout stretches and fun moves. Ages 12 and up

High Point Community Center-6920 34th Ave SW.

·        Fri  5:45-6:45pm     Free Class for High Point Residents + Childcare

Workout with Willie

Strength training for all levels. Equipment provided.

Location:         Neighborhood House High Point Center-6400 Sylvan Way SW.

YMCA Community Swim for Women and Children. Monthly public swim for Women and Children. All girls and boys under age 7 must attend with female relative or guardian.

Come out to enjoy the sunshine and join in on activities: raffle for prizes, food entertainment, resource table, dancing, music and cultural performances! ·        Carkeek Park Field Trip– Tuesday, July 17th, 9:30am- 3:00pm   A fun summer field trip to Carkeek Park to hike, picnic and enjoy the beach!  Registration is required! $5 for adults, $3 for children under 10.  Includes lunch and transportation. Sold Out.

 

·        High Point Pedestrian Safety Meeting– Wednesday, July 18th, 6:30pm -7:30pm Help select a design for the street mural to be placed at the intersection by the Commons Park playground.
