Two BIG events this week at Neighborhood House High Point!
High Point Graduation Celebration on Wednesday, June 3rd from 5:30pm-7pm. This is a community event to celebrate all students making a transition, whether it be from HeadStart to Kindergarten, Elementary School to Middle School, Middle School to High School or High School to life after High School! Please join us in celebrating our High Point youth! There will be refreshments, as well as a very special gift for students who attend the entire event!!
Children’s Clothing Give Away on Saturday from 10am-2pm. Please join us for this special event. Thanks to generous donations from West Seattle Baby, local consignment stores and community members, we have over 200 large bags of children’s clothing to give away!! In addition to giving away clothing we will have refreshments, as well as information about local summer programs and other community resources. If you have children’s clothing that you are looking to get rid of you are welcome to bring that as well. All surplus clothing will be donated to the West Seattle ClothesLine at the end of the event. Please share information about this event with friends, family, or anyone you know who could use children’s clothing. Everyone is invited!
New Programs:
Father’s Network: Thursday’s starting on June 11th from 1pm-3pm. Feel free to bring your kids.
Somali Women’s Group will be meeting every Tuesday from 1pm-3pm. Feel free to bring your kids
ESL is starting again from 6:30pm-8:00pm on Monday nights. Childcare will not be provided.
Guilding Good Choices Parenting Class is seeking Spanish speaking families to participate:
