Happy Holidays!

As the year draws to a close I hope that we can all take a moment to
breathe a sigh of relief that we made it through another year, and to
reflect with hope upon the next. For this email there were a lot of
job announcements and grant applications that I uploaded to the HIFY
Google page. Please check out the links for more information and it
will keep the rest of the email shorter for folks that don’t need
those resources. And as always, we only know what’s going on in the
community if you tell us, so please keep us in the loop about any
services you’d like to advertise or events that you’re hosting and
we’ll include it in this email and our youth email.

In this email you’ll find:
+HIFY Updates: Trainings, Inservices, Tabling, Oh My!
+eQuality Scholarship
+Resources for low-income SF Youth
+SOUL Job Announcements
+Pacific Center Job Announcement
+Castro Network Family Action Grant
+Peer Education Statistics: Keepin’ it positive
+FREE Harm Reduction Therapy services

HIFY News:

The past month has been busy! HIFY has been out doing many workshops
for youth as a part of our Go Healthy! Series and our Tell It! Digital
Story series (check out flyers for both on our Google Groups pages).
We were fortunate to link up with LifeBeat to table for World AIDS
Day; Handing out condoms and other safer sex supplies to folks outside
of Virgin Megastore in San Francisco. We were lucky to attend the
Speakers forum presented by CNYD on Youth and Immigration and look
forward to the resources that will come as this group builds momentum.
We completed a Digital Story series with Girlsource and you can see
the Girls’ amazing videos by visiting: www.youtube.com/hifymedia

We at HIFY want to wish you a Happy Holiday season! May you be
rejuvenated for another amazing year!

Tina
