Hey Google Garden Group
The summer garden is growing very well, but the gardening work is starting to really stack up. We have 55+ tomato pants, 12 cucumber mounds caged, a row of cucumbers and 2 rows of pole beans. We also have 2 beds of bush beans coming up. We need help weeding 4 tomato beds, clearing the fence line, and installing the solar electric fence to keep the raccoons out. We also have recurring maintenance and irrigation needs.
If you can help this summer season, we can develop a work plan to fit your schedule. Please let me know if you can do anything to support Coastal Harvesters this summer. We even need folks who can just turn the hoses on and off here and there. Please call or email just to discuss how some contribution to the garden can be given this summer. We need to pay the rent, water bill and have product for the farmers market this season. And don't forget the fantastic wages we pay in the form of fresh organic produce for your table - and hopefully for some of our less fortunate neighbors through the food pantries.
I am coordinating a work day tomorrow Friday June 21 at 9:00 am. Please come by anytime before noon and check out what's going on. Even if your cant stay long.

That's great. If you have gloves, bring them. Weeding tools and a weed bucket can help too.
