Subject: Register NOW for Active Living, Healthy Food Convening on May 22-23
Importance: High
With generous support from the Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust, Resourceful Communities has launched a new initiative to support community groups in Northeastern NC working to improve local health through active living opportunities and access to local food.
As part of this effort, we’re hosting an *Active Living, Healthy Food Convening in New Bern on May 22-23*. This gathering will provide community and church groups that are working to improve local health an opportunity to connect with each other; learn about resources; see some successful projects; and engage in direct skill building. Participants will learn at See It In Action demonstrations, skill building workshops, a resource panel and more.
The convening targets 31 counties in Eastern North Carolina, and these counties are listed on the attached flyer. There is no fee to participate, but registration is required. *Space is filling up fast so please register soon!*
