VAPAS help

In cross sectional analysis the line element is made along the
thickness. How this element behaves and connects to the nodes. Also
does order of the nodes in the element also affects the solution? Is
there standard units followed in the VAPAS?

I believe you are talking about the through-the-thickness analysis using VAPAS. The line elements are simply 1D isoparameteric elements. As long as you provide the input according to its convention. The solution should remain the same. By the way, I have not touched VAPAS for at least 6 years.
