PostGEBT is available for download!

Dear All,

PostGEBT, a post-processing code for GEBT, is available for download. Attached please find a zip file including the following items:

1. An executable file entitled "PostGEBT_V1.exe"
2. A manual for PostGEBT
3. Three folders including three examples, for static, transient dynamic, and eigenvalue analysis, respectively. In each folder, there is an PDF file containing the description of the problem, and there are also a GEBT input file (.dat) and the corresponding GEBT output file (.out).

You can simply copy the executable file into the example folders and run by double-click on it. The results of GEBT analysis, including displacements/rotations, stress resultants, and mode shapes will be visualized and output into PNG format files. More details can be found in the PostGEBT Manual.

PostGEBT is produced by Matlab 2012b (MCR 8.0). If you have the same version Matlab installed, it is ready to go; otherwise, please download and install MCR8.0 from the mathworks website:

To circumvent some email systems, the extension "zip" is changed to be "pass". You just need to change it back to be a "zip" file once you receive it.
