You mentioned that you were going for an older monkey that has had a hard life. Your current design looks quite young and unblemished. Maybe you could add more of a time-worn/weather-beaten look to the face? And maybe a more clumped/matted look to the fur? Some more colour/hue contrast to the fur, with some grey/white hair in places.

Marvel's Hit-Monkey is an American adult animated television series created by Will Speck and Josh Gordon for Hulu, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. The series was produced by Marvel Television for its first season and by 20th Television Animation for its second season, with Gordon and Speck serving as showrunners.

The series stars Ally Maki, Olivia Munn, Fred Tatasciore, and Jason Sudeikis, with Nobi Nakanishi and George Takei joining for the first season, and Leslie Jones and Cristin Milioti in the second. Hit-Monkey was announced and ordered at Hulu in February 2019, as part of a group of series based on Marvel characters that were intended to lead to a crossover special titled The Offenders, with it being produced by Marvel Television. Oversight of the series was moved to Marvel Studios in December 2019 when Marvel Television was folded into that company. 20th Television Animation produced the second season. Animation for the series is provided by Floyd County Productions.

The first season of Hit-Monkey was released in its entirety on Hulu on November 17, 2021, and consisted of ten episodes. The series was met with generally positive reviews from critics for its animation, voice acting, action scenes, plot, and faithfulness to the source material of the comics. In February 2023, the series was renewed for a second ten-episode season, which was released on July 15, 2024.

Hit-Monkey is a wronged Japanese macaque who is mentored by the ghost of an American assassin named Bryce Fowler as he damages Tokyo's crime underworld.[1] Hit-Monkey and Bryce then travel to New York City.[2]

In February 2019, Marvel Television announced an adult animated television series based on Hit-Monkey, with a series order at the streaming service Hulu, along with M.O.D.O.K. and ones based on Tigra and Dazzler together, as well as Howard the Duck, that were intended to lead up to a crossover special titled The Offenders. The series was created by Will Speck and Josh Gordon, both of whom were expected to write for the series and executive produce alongside Jeph Loeb.[1][8][9] That December, Marvel Television was folded into Marvel Studios, which carried subsequent oversight of the series.[10] The following month in 2020, Marvel decided not to move forward with Howard the Duck, Tigra & Dazzler, and The Offenders, with M.O.D.O.K. and Hit-Monkey continuing as planned.[11] M.O.D.O.K. co-creator Jordan Blum commented in the following year that the series has a different animation style from M.O.D.O.K..[12] In January 2022, Hulu's head of content Craig Erwich said that additional seasons of Hit-Monkey would be determined solely by the Marvel Studios team.[13] With the cancellation of M.O.D.O.K. in May 2022, Variety reported Hit-Monkey was also not expected to be renewed.[14] However, the series was renewed in February 2023, with 20th Television Animation taking over production of the series, given Marvel Television no longer existed. At this time, it was reported that the series would no longer featured "Marvel's" in its name, though the Marvel logo would still be attached to the series "in other ways".[15] The second season was ultimately still formally called Marvel's Hit-Monkey.[5] Animation for the series is provided by Floyd County Productions.[6]

In September 2021, it was revealed that Jason Sudeikis would voice Bryce,[4] along with Fred Tatasciore as Hit-Monkey, with George Takei, Olivia Munn, Ally Maki, and Nobi Nakanishi also starring.[3] Tatasciore, Sudeikis, Munn, and Maki return for the second season, with Leslie Jones and Cristin Milioti joining the cast.[2][6]

The first season of Hit-Monkey premiered on November 17, 2021, on Hulu in the United States, with all ten episodes released.[4] Internationally, the series was released on January 26, 2022, on Disney+,[16] Disney+ Hotstar and Star+ in Latin America.[citation needed] The second season was released with all ten episodes on July 15, 2024.[17][6]

The review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes reports an 84% approval rating with an average rating of 7.0/10 based on 19 critic reviews. The website's critical consensus reads: "If Marvel's Hit-Monkey is never as thrillingly original as its title might suggest, vibrant animation and a solid voice cast keep things consistently watchable."[18] Metacritic, which uses a weighted average, assigned a score of 57 out of 100 based on 6 critics, indicating "mixed or average reviews".[19]

I've been doing freelance animation work for a very long time (stuff for big networks like Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Adult Swim, Various Youtubers such as Swoozie & Vinesauce ), and although it's helped me grow as an artist (and helped pay the bills) I feel it's time I tried to strike out on my own and get back to doing what I REALLY enjoy doing; making original animated content.

If you've been following me for a good while now, you'll know of my original character stuff; Old stuff like Shrike Sanchez, Spoiler, Lariat, BB etc. I've had a story planned out for these characters for a very long long time now and originally I was going to make a comic instead of animation as it would be far less expensive (as in next to no cost what so ever!). But deep down something has been telling me that it HAS to be animated.

These characters were once brought to life back in the day, and with my vastly improved skill at animation and storytelling I feel that now is the time to attempt something like this. I'd love to be able to make this story become a reality, and make some other short animated stories on the side, as well as some more Vinesauce animated content as well since people seem to love those.

As of right now my time to work on my own projects is very slim. Freelance takes up the majority of my time. I'd love to be able to transition from fully freelance to, hopefully in time, fully independent via Patreon. That way I'll be able to produce things I want to make, as well as provide you guys with some fun and interesting stories!

This animated picture fixation stick has a moving monkey on a unicycle and jumping frog picture on one side and reduced LogMAR size Kay Picture optotypes and letters on the reverse to help maintain constant accommodation during testing when necessary.

This recall involves Giggles International Animated Sing-Along Monkey toys. The monkey is made of brown and beige plush material and is about 9 inches tall. The toy is designed to hold a song book titled "5 Little Monkeys" and to sing the song when activated. A red music note is on the bottom of the monkey's right foot and the face of a child with its hands covering its eyes are on the bottom of the money's left foot. Recalled sing-along monkeys were manufactured between 6/7/2014 and 7/5/2014 and have batch code GP1410028. The manufacture date in the M/D/YYYY format and batch code are printed on the bottom of a white fabric label attached near the base of the monkey's tail. The monkey toys came in a tan colored box with words "Animated Sing-Along Monkey," "Sing along with me!" and "I play peek-a-boo with you!" on the front. The age advisory "For ages 3+" and the warning that batteries are included are also on the front of the box.

Consumers should immediately take the animated monkey away from children, remove the batteries and return the toy to any Cracker Barrel Old Country Store or contact Giggles International for a full refund.

The recalled toy guns fail to meet federal safety standards, as they do not have a blaze orange tip that is required by the mandatory toy standard to differentiate toy guns from real guns, and the projectiles pose an eye injury hazard to children because they do not meet the requirements in the mandatory toy standard for projectile toys.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is charged with protecting the public from unreasonable risk of injury or death associated with the use of thousands of types of consumer products. Twenty years ago, Lois and Lucy Lane would play with a young chimp by the name of Titano. They also played with a stuffed monkey called "Beppo" that would play the song "Pop! Goes the Weasel" when squeezed. Unfortunately, this was not to last. Titano was taken by members of the military and sent out into space. In spite of all reassurances, Lois was fearful that something would go wrong. Her fears were confirmed as the rocket was lost in space.

In the present day, Superman is out in space and ready to destroy a meteor storm heading towards a space station. He punches one of the meteors which unexpectedly causes a chain reaction that causes all of them to start to explode. A strange blue aura surrounds all of the meteors, but Superman doesn't seem to notice. What he does notice, however, is a ship lodged into a large meteor. He flies to it and frees the capsule, and discovers that inside the capsule is Titano, alive and well.
