I am having an issue trying to use Eagle student version. I have gone through the student verification process in the past, but I accidentally let it expire about a month ago. Last night, I went through the steps to get it renewed and it was much quicker. It shows in my account and when I go to the educational access page it asks me to sign in and verify that I have access. It then takes me to a website that has a banner saying that I have student access until a year from now, and gives me the catalog of educational software to download.

That is great but then when I go to use Eagle or Fusion360 I cannot use the educational priveleges. I have tried logging in and out of the apps, reinstalling them and nothing is working. Any advice? Is there a few days that it may take to go through for education access? I would think the same thing, but there is a banner in the products section that states that I have access. Maybe it will take longer to get to the app, does anyone know how long this may be or what may be going on here?

I am having the same issue. Every time I open Inventor or rivet it tells me I'm (un able to activate licence) but I've had the conformation email to say I'm eligible and can downloads all the programs fine.

But the issue is, that somehow it seems these licenses do not work for me, I tried to download the Fusion 360, but it always shows that my subscription has expired, I tried to reinstall it, but that did not help. Even when I open Online Fusion 360 it shows that my subscription has expired. I tried to activate AutoCAD as well, I got a license but even that did not work.

I went through the 3 steps and downloading Fusion360 with my education license being appproved. After downloading the software and using it for a couple of hours, I noticed a subscribe now button in the top right which doesn't make sense since I already got approved. After clicking on it, it tells me to sign up for an educational license, which I already have, and after signing into my account it says that my registration is being processed! This makes no sense whatsoever as the entire reason I was able to download Fusion360 was because my license was approved! This is extremely frustrating as I went through a 24 hour verification process only to end up with a trial license. I would appreciate any help that I can get.

I received an email that said "We resolved a licensing issue that was preventing the download of your 1-year student license. You can now download your product by clicking this link." Excited, because the email seems to be answering my problem exactly, I clicked on the link, but to my disappointment, it takes me to autodesk.com. This leads me nowhere and even after exploring around for some kind of activation, it's nothing but the autodesk website.

No luck with it yet on the next day, still getting the exact same message and it is not showing on manage.autodesk.com. I can see it on the trials page as a 73 day trial. I emailed education support through the link you sent me, so now I guess it's just time to wait. Thanks for replying.

Still nothing but basic troubleshooting steps from the education support team. I have seen other people just send their email adress to the right education support specialist and have it fixed in minutes vs how I just keep getting told to restart and wait. Frustrating.

In regards to Aakash's issue, the issue was known to be licensing as their educational license had not appeared on their account and was still showing the subscribe. The issue with your Maya looks to be more installation-based since you can't even launch the product, you'd better creating a new thread so it's easier to follow and keep up with now that this thread is solved.

I uninstalled Fusion360, created a new account, as you can see, and redid the steps and waited a day or two, checked verification and it magically worked. That's what I suggest for anyone, just delete and go through the process again with a different account.

Here are the steps for students and educators to get started with the Autodesk Education plan to access software for their individual use. For help setting up classes or labs, see Set up a class as an educator.

Autodesk uses a single sign-on (SSO) system. That means you can use the same email and password to sign in to many Autodesk websites. If you have signed in to Registration and Activation, Education Community, Autodesk Drive, Autodesk Discussion Groups or certain other Autodesk websites, you already have an Autodesk account.

To access software and services under the Education plan, you must confirm your eligibility. As part of this process, you may be asked to provide documentation of enrolment or employment at a qualified educational institution.

Important: You will not be able to access software under the Education plan until your eligibility is confirmed. Be sure to start the process of confirming your eligibility early enough to make sure you have access when class starts.

To help maintain our commitment to providing free professional software for legitimate use in education, Autodesk has engaged SheerID, a third-party verification services provider, to verify eligibility to access Education licences or subscriptions. All customers seeking free access to Autodesk professional products and services through the Education Community are required to provide proof of enrolment, employment or contractor status at a qualified educational institution.

After your eligibility is confirmed, you will receive one year of free* Educational access to Autodesk software and services available on the Education Community. Access is renewable annually as long as you are eligible. Look for a confirmation email welcoming you to the Education Community. This email includes links to the Get Products page (US site), support resources and the Education Community page.

The Education plan gives eligible students and educators free* one-year, single-user access to Autodesk software and services for Educational Purposes. You can access all software available through the Education Community and access is renewable annually as long as you are eligible.

Please use cloud services thoughtfully to help ensure good service levels for everyone. Education plan users who regularly consume cloud services beyond market average may face additional restrictions. Restrictions to cloud services may change without notice. See the Terms of Use (US site) for more information.

In March 2020, Autodesk changed educational access from a three-year term to a one-year term. If you currently hold a one- or three-year single-user standalone (individual) educational licence for Autodesk software that was issued before August 2020, the licence will continue to run for its full term. When it expires, you will need to confirm your eligibility for the Education plan, then download the product to activate your license. There is no need to reinstall.

Autodesk Drive and other web services are offered under the terms of service agreement. The conditions that apply to a particular service may vary, so be sure to review the terms that accompany each service. These terms are in addition to any terms applicable to your use of any Autodesk software and subscriptions associated with a service and the website terms of use for autodesk.com and other Autodesk websites.

To help maintain our commitment to providing free professional software for use in education, Autodesk has engaged SheerID, a third-party verification services provider, to verify eligibility for educational access. To confirm eligibility, users must provide proof of enrolment, employment or contractor status at a qualified educational institution.

I am wondering if it is possible to change from a education licence to a hobby licence. My use case does not fall within the education licence anymore and I want to make sure i'm not breaking TOS. I tried seeing how to do it and I could not find a solid answer hence me asking here. In addition will i be able to transfer my designs between the licences as i have some designs I would like to ensure I keep.

How or when does the option to change from educational to personal use appear? My educational license has expired and I would like to change to a personal one but I haven't been given the option to in Fusion360 and every time I apply for personal use on the website it also doesn't work even if I wait for some 30 minutes and log out and in again. Right now the dialogue window says that I have a startup license (?) I don't know how that happened. Do I need to make a new Account in order to use the personal license? Thanks for the Help!

I tried the steps you wrote.
I have a Student license that expired yesterday, I already have an account and I used the same one to download the Personal Use version.
At the download I already found the program installed and running, I answered yes, but when the program starts I get "Trial version 30 days", and if I go to subscribers it immediately sends me back to the payment page.
It didn't work why? I had to wait 30 minutes before entering the data to start the program?

After the EDU license is finished, a 30 day trial period (full license) starts automatically, in which you can decide for a purchase variant (or not!).
Only when this phase is finished with the mentioned hint you follow the picture series.

I received a message back in January 2021 saying that I needed to "reconfirm now to renew your educational access for an additional year." I did immediately and it said I was approved. I am also still eligible for Autodesk products.
