Next meeting and Update!

Hello HIDO HR! :)

Thanks to those of you who came to the HIDO-WIDO tonight - hopefully the
Namibia presentation and reflection/feedback session gave you something to
sink your teeth into!

As those of you who were at the meeting can tell, I'm EXCESSIVELY proud of
how cohesive our workgroup has become - it might not feel like it to you,
but we are certainly the most successful workgroup in all of HIDO as far
as cohesion and group attendence goes!! :)

Anyway - as of right now, we are working on getting $$$ for our Peru
project. we will have another meeting early next week (probably our last
meeting of the year) to discuss progress on this.

As of right now, though - i need people who are interested in:

1) Researching/contacting Harvard HR institutions, such as the CID, the
University Committee for Human Rights, the Carr Center, and the Law
School's HLS Advocates, in order to ask about money we could apply for in
order to fund this project.

2) People to search online for family grants, federal funds, etc, that can
be applied to. We are going straight for the big money here - no $35
fundraisers going door to door! :)

Please email me back and let me know if you can even spend a bit of time
working on this! We have commmitted to this project and although the year
is winding to a close, finishing up this home stretch is certainly an
attainable goal! :)
