Hey HIDO HR!!! :)

I really can't believe it, but I'm running the Boston Marathon
in LESS THAN A WEEK inorder to raise money for Chinese orphans! (Be sure to stay tuned to Channel 5
to watch Aidan get pulled of on a stretcher at mile 17.6.... ;)

More importantly, though, is that I'm running to *save lives!* Please help by

The 109th Boston Marathon

A team of six students from Harvard China Care will undertake this
grueling 26.2 mile slog to save children's lives. These runners
are prepared to sweat it out for our wonderful kids, risking their
limbs and their sanity...but they really need YOUR help.

Harvard China Care is a student organization dedicated to helping
orphaned and abandoned children in China. Some months ago, through our
student volunteers in China, we were put in touch with an orphanage in
desperate need of help.

Located in Saiqi, in the southern province of Fujian, this institution
is home to thirty orphaned children, living in a dangerous, crumbling
building. Many are physically and/or mentally disabled. As they
have only one caretaker, most of these children have never been outside.
Others are bright and healthy school-going children. In all
cases, however, their basic living needs are not being met.

Harvard China Care has committed to raising the funds necessary to
relocate these children into a much safer, healthier environment and to
help the local staff elevate the standards of care. (further info. below)


Next Monday's marathon is our BIGGEST fundraiser. Thanks to the
generosity of many Harvard students, we have already reached 20% of our
goal. But we rely on every last scrap of help we can muster to reach the
full $30,000!

Please, please sponsor our runners as they take on the Boston Marathon
for this extremely worthy cause! Ask your friends and family to do the
same!
Really and truly, no donation is too small. Together we can make an
extraordinary contribution to the lives of these children.
