HEYMANN vs ROTH debate!

Hey HIDO HR! :)

Last night's debate was spectacular! :) What was best was that Ken Roth
(HRW) totally outshone Philip Heymann - Roth took the side of Absolute
Prohibition of torture and CID whereas Heymann, defending his proposal,
had to say that he supported introducing compromise and ambiguity into the
laws that regulate interrogation - he just seemed awkward and not as
knowledgable about the reality of International Law!

It was an awesome debate and thanks to those of you who could make it! A
special thanks to Michael Codini, Janice Whang and Gaby Pena for postering
yesterday morning! :)

Remember our meeting next wednesday night!!! :) please RSVP if you haven't
already - we still have one significant project left this semester that I
would like to wrap up effectively and efficiently! :)
