Hey HIDO HR!

We had a fantastic and concise meeting tonight!

1) Debate Publicity:
- Janice Whang will be heading our publicity drive for the the
debate, jwh...@fas.harvard.edu
- if you are interested in coordinating/helping out with any of
our publicity areas for this event:
~postering, contacting the crimson,
~writing up a flashy informational email with the blurb we
already have from the law school forum on the event (so really this is just a little cut & paste &
exaggeration ;),
~sidewalk-chalking outside the science center next week
~*contacting media sources* such as the NYTimes, Boston
newspapers and TV/Radio news stations,
please email jwhang@fas and let her know how you are willing to
help! This *really* will not take long - especially the more people who offer
to help!


2) Paz y Esperanza - Peru NGO Sustainable Development Project
This project is all about helping the peruvians help themselves
recover from the ghastly human rights abuses they suffered. We are raising
$1500 to help educate judges, lawyers and a new judicial body develop in
order to persecute the criminals of these human rights violations.
We will be selling tickets and receiving $5 a ticket profit from
"Party for a cause" and doing other fundraisers in order to try and raise
this money.

if you are available to table outside Quisque Jam this weekend,
please also email gaby and I and let us know! :) (You don't need to table
the whole time - just early in the evening!)
