Hi all! :)

Sorry I didn't send out minutes from wednesday's meeting - it was a
concise but effective one! :)

In terms of raising the $1500 for Peace & Hope, we thought that the best
way of raising the money would be through grants and Harvard sources,
rather than through activities like carwashes, door-to-door drives or
other fundraisers that might take a while to organize...

As of right now, SERGIO and NICK RIZZO are going to be researching
federal/international grants for grassroots legal work (like what Paz Y
Esperanza is working towards) and I am going to probe Harvard $$ sources
such as the Uni. committee on human rights, the CID, the weatherhead
center, etc :)

We also considered a box-moving fundraiser during move-out to raise the
last bit of the money! :) Also - we are getting $$ from Party 4 a Cause.

We'll have another meeting next week to discuss progress! Happy weekend!
