STEPHANY KOCH HAZELRIGG an engaging and empowering facilitator, cultural worker, and social artist living deeply & directly from her belief in the power of art to create space, healing, and change. stephany lives the poetry of her existence out loud; outside genres, disciplines, and binaries. stephany has been making poems, prayers, paintings, plays, drawings, dances, journals, stories, songs, beats and movement and mixing and mastering ceremonies along shorelines and mountaintops all throughout her lifetimes. she is grateful to be here.
after years of pulling stories and truths out of students and arts/educator communities, stephany is finally taking time to release a few of her own at Ladies First on Saturday, April 7th in Columbia City. in addition to dynamic, performative, mixed medium and mixed media, metaphorically and metaphysically, truth seeking, speaking, and living poetry featuring fresh new collaborative peaces with other brilliant local artist pals including Meng Yu, Sheldon Botler, Amos Miller and folks from Seattle's Fandango community as well as MariArte for sale. stephany will also be releasing an audio ep and her long awaited chapbook entitled:
