HiCPro Output Files as Input to HiTC for Processing. Is .hic file required?

Just starting to use HiTC and followed the example using the dataset from Dixon et al.  These were .hic files.  What is the process for using the HiC Pro output files (all valid pairs, raw matrix file, raw abs bed) to input into HiTC?  Do you need to convert to .hic files format to use HiTC? If yes, is there a utility availability to make this conversion from HiCPro to .hic file?

No HiTC requires the .matrix (and .bed) files generated by HiC-Pro.
