EDIT: Tested 2.0.4.5 by deleting the Google Drive job. Duplicati pre-checked the database delete (then did not actually delete the database if I check with File Explorer). I had to manually check Delete Remote Files which it did do. I was watching Trash in drive.google.com, and the dlist I had seen disappeared from there.

Now with that said I have found the latest canary 2.0.4 versions 16 to 18 are quite a bit faster than the previous versions (including 2.0.4.5 beta). Where the previous versions would take 20 hours for initial backup of 200GB (for my fast SSD drives, fast 1Gb or 10Gb LAN connection, and decent server with 8CPU and 32GB RAM), the latest versions take 2-3 hours for the same initial backup now. Still, never use wifi and never use a PC that goes to sleep/shuts off after a certain timeframe of non-use, it will always fail and cause problems.

You can back up content, data, and settings from your phone to your Google Account. You can restore your backed up information to the original phone or to some other Android phones. You can't use back up when you set up a personal device with a work profile or for work only, or when you set up a company-owned device.

Backup from Storage Snapshots lets you speed up backup and replication for VMware vSphere VMs whose disks are hosted on storage systems. When you perform Backup from Storage Snapshots, Veeam Backup & Replication leverages storage snapshots for VM data processing. Backup from Storage Snapshots lets you reduce impact of backup and replication activities on the production environment and improve RPOs.

You can choose which content to back up only from the Settings menu of the device that stores that content. For example, while you can view your iPad backup from your iPhone, you can choose which iPad content to back up only from the Settings menu of your iPad.

We back up all of our computers to a NAS on our home network using N360. We had a computer die a couple years ago. We still have the backups out on the NAS. I need to get some files off that backup for an IRS audit, but cannot seem to find a way to restore that backup to a location on a new computer. I can't even see it from the computer. I have tried to create a new backup set, etc., without any luck. To be clear, the PC itself sees the mapped drive and can see all the backups from every PC. What I want to do is restore the backup from the old PC to the new PC (Thumb drive or hard drive) so I can browse the files and find the paperwork.

I found one article that seems to speak to this, but the link is now dead.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried this, but the issue is that I do not see the dead computer when use Norton. I can see the file on the NAS (43 GB) and navigate the filesystem, but as it is in Norton backup form, I cannot just grab files. Do you have any suggestions for seeing the backup via N36)?

You say you have found the backup set for the dead computer on the NAS? From my instructions in the link I gave above, you need to restore that backup to one of your working computers. Create a temporary folder on the good computer, and in the Restore To options, choose to restore to a different location and choose your temp folder. That will restore everything and you will then be able to pick the files you need to use for your audit.

Yes, but when I go to do this, #1 you have circled above does not show the backup set from that old computer as an option to restore from. It only shows the backup set from the computer I am using currently. However, if I go onto the NAS itself, I can see that we have the backup there from 1/29/2018, which is 42.1 GB. I put some screen captures below that hopefully clears things up. What I would like to do is restore the 1/29/2018 backup to my new computer, but cannot see it as a place to restore from. I have restored other sources to make sure it works and have been successful - just can't get the source to see this backup for some reason.

What version of the SDK are you running? I just tested this using (I'm on the latest version, 410.0.0) and it doesn't allow me to list the backups after the instance has bee deleted (ERROR: (gcloud.sql.backups.list) HTTPError 403: The client is not authorized to make this request.). This is the expected behavior of backups as it should be tied with the instance. The post you referenced is almost 2 years old and I'm wondering if you're using and older version of gcloud which uses an older version of the API and allows you to query the backups, but the same gcloud is also trying to use an older/deprecated API for restores as well (v1beta4 as per your output) and hence it not working.

EDIT 2: okay, so if you look at the blog post you referenced, the user there was able to lookup backups by referencing the deleted instance's name. Something I was not able to do (hence the error I got). You're listing the backups with a wildcard '-', which may be listing backups that GCP has yet to clean up. Now onto the restore command, you have to reference the instance the backup is from, but as you can no longer reference it (as the blog post was able to 2 years ago), you now get the 503 error. I think currently it's working as it was originally intended and I don't think you can restore from a backup of a deleted instance.

I found out that is not possible to restore the backup to an existing instance. It gave me 503 too.
It might work if the restored instance is a fresh cloud sql instance.(don't have time to test it though and be sure about it)

My question back then was related to a deleted instance and whether is possible to restore a backup after the cloud db instance gets deleted. This is not available for now and that is why it gives 503.

How to download Android phone backup from Google Drive? I see it in Google Drive but there is no option to download it. It's also not included in data downloaded from Google Takeout. I have tried using Droidkit and imyfone app which has feature to do that but these apps doesn't see that backup.

Your Windows PC comes with a one-stop backup solution, Windows Backup, that will help you to back up many of the things that are most important to you. From your files, themes, and some settings to many of your installed apps and Wi-Fi information - Windows Backup will help protect what matters and make it easier than ever to move to a brand-new PC.

Windows Backup is an easy, single stop for all of your backup needs. Your free Microsoft account comes with 5 GB of OneDrive cloud storage (and more storage is available if you need it), and backing up your folders syncs the folders you specify to your OneDrive account, making them instantly accessible on all computers that you use with this Microsoft account. And since they are synced to OneDrive, once you sign in to OneDrive on a new PC, those files will be available to you once again.

If you want to check and make sure everything is still backed up (hey, we all want that sense of security from time to time!), you can just open the Windows Backup app and it will show you the current state of your backup, or you can check on things at the top of the Windows backup page in Settings, at Start > Settings > Accounts > Windows backup.

We have your back! When you get a new PC or if you have to reinstall Windows, when you are setting it up, just log in with the same Microsoft account that you used to make the backup here. We'll see that you have backups and ask you if you would like to restore one.

If you have more than one computer backed up, you can select More options and select the backup you wish to restore from. When you get to your desktop everything will be right there waiting for you!

Once you've turned off backup, if you wish to delete the data that has been backed up previously to your Microsoft account, you can visit your Microsoft Account Devices page , find the Cloud synced settings section at the bottom of the page and select and select Clear stored settings.

If you want to check and make sure everything is still backed up (hey, we all want that sense of security from time to time!), you can just open the Windows Backup app and it will show you the current state of your backup, or you can check on the state of your OneDrive folder sync at the top of the main Settings page; just open Start > Settings and look for the icon.
