I have my network split into 2 vlans with my AVR on the 'vot' (vlan of things) . If I attach my phone to the vot I can then connect to the AVR and play music. Then I turn on 'UPNP Keep remote devices online' . When I put my phone back on the other vlan I can still connect to the AVR and play music .
Reading between the lines I'm guessing that the option 'UPNP Keep remote devices online' is storing the VAR's ip address so that the normal discovery process is not used .
Is that correct ?
