Hello,

After upgrading my Nexus 6P to Android 7.0 Nougat, Hi-Fi cast is no longer able to see my DLNA media server.  I get the message "Could not find your selected media server on the network.  Is it switched on?"  I also tried going to "Select media server", but it just shows my current media serer as offline.

I am using Twonky Server 8.2.1 as my DLNA media server and had no issues using Android 6.x (Marshmallow).  This appears to be an issue specific with Hi-Fi cast working with Android 7.0 Nougat.

I also checked with another DLNA/UPnP app (UPnPlay), and it is able to see my DLNA media server just fine on Android 7.0 Nougat.

Can you please help.  I really love Hi-Fi cast and I need it to be able to see my media server.

Thanks

This problem has been fixed in version 1.024 which has now been released to beta. If the beta testers don't find any problems, the release will be available in the next few days.
Of course if you want the fix now you can join the beta community and install the beta version.

Version 1.024 of Hi-Fi Cast is now available from the Play Store. Could you try this version and let me know if it has fixed the problem. Thanks.
