Duplication of files

Hello,

Sometimes Hi-Fi Cast duplicates the files on the queue. I haven't been able to identify the cause for that though. Does anyone else have the same the problem?

It's really a pain when you want to listen to a full album as you understand.

Great app though, despite some glitches.

I know this is a very old post, but I still get this same problem. It's only on a few albums maybe 2 or 3 out of seveal hundred), and it appears that (under properties) the track appears in two steams, one with a file location (on my device sd card) and once as a URL. I haven't worked out why or how to get rid of the URL stream, as all my music is local.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What happens if you delete the album (or a track) from your sd card? If the url still works and music is played it seems that somewhere in your network there is a streamable copy that is/was found.

Did you rebuild the android media database - could also be an error there, see Hi-Fi Cast - Android Media Storage (aka Media Scanner)?
