Is Hi-Fi Cast able to play music to a UPnP/DLNA renderer? If so, how do I do this? If not, is there any possibility that this could be supported in future?

For now the app only plays to Chromecast devices (and the local Android device of course), but I will definitely consider adding support for UPnP/DLNA renderers if there seems to be a demand for it.

I too ask for this feature!
Have a Synology NAS and Squeezeboxes.
Hoping to have a single app capable of streaming my NAS-stored music to the local device (Android phone) and to the DLNA-compliant players (Squeezeboxes).
An app that also supports Internet radio streaming marked to a Favorites folder.
Please also add a New Music folder tab for finding albums recently added to the music library.
Thanks for a great app!

Hi-FI Cast can now play music to DLNA renderers. Once you've installed the latest version of the app, your renderers will be listed in the 'Select playback device' screen.

Enable gapless (if your renderer supports it) via Settings > UPnP/DLNA

One feature that is dearly missed is the possibility to cast directly from play music (Google music) when you have a subscription...

OK. I'll see what I can do.

Maybe make it possible to stream phone audio to external players?
