Issue with Cover Art and Track Duration in Hifi Cast for Flac Files from NAS to Android Device

I have a strange problem: I have Flac data sorted by artist and album on my NAS. All data is properly tagged and provided with cover art. If I play the data directly from the NAS, Hifi Cast displays the cover art correctly. If I copy the data to my Android device and play it from there, Hifi Cast shows the cover in the album overview, but no cover when playing a single track. It always shows me a generic gray cover. Hifi Cast also doesn't show the playing lengths of the individual tracks in the album overview, only once the track has been selected do they suddenly appear (and stay there).
