Hi Pawel,
The app doesn't currently do any transcoding (though it will be available soon I hope).
Regarding the audio format message - when the app connects to a UPnP/DLNA renderer, the renderer sends the app a list of the audio formats that it supports. You see the error message if the list doesn't contain the format you are trying to play. It is not uncommon for a player to omit one or more playable formats from its list :(
You can suppress the notification via the UPnP/DLNA settings in the app, but a better thing to do is to 'tell' Hi-Fi Cast that your Pure Jongo A2 can in fact play FLAC files. You do it like so:
- Navigate to the 'Select Playback Device' screen and tap the settings icon for your Pure Jongo A2
- In the (confusingly named) 'Add to Protocol Info' setting, add the following line
- Exit the settings screen
- On the 'Select Playback Device' screen, tap 'This Device'. Then go back in and select your Pure Jongo A2
- You should now be able to play FLACs to your Pure Jongo A2 without the annoying error message appearing
Good luck :)
