I just made this.  I think we could use it to post links to various datasets, tools, visualizations, etc..

I'm sure you're all much more into reddit than I am, but just in case you are not, it's a free subreddit where we can have discussions about each post, and potentially use it to vote on upcoming projects.

I love it! This is a great idea. I'm in the process of taking down the wiki and standing a simple wordpress site up. Between that, the meetup group, and this reddit, I think we are covered in terms of keeping the local community in touch!
