Hello Fellow Homemakers!

I hope your summer is off to a great start!  We will be spending a lot of our summer in the garden.  I hope to post a video tour of our garden area on my blog soon (so that you can make plans to come help me with weeding).  :)

In case you missed them, here are some favorite posts from recent weeks:

Healthy Homemade Ranch Dressing Mix (and stay tuned, because I've got healthy Italian and Thousand Island recipes coming this month!)

Well, That Was Brilliant (which will be followed up soon with the story of my sleeves...)

My best frugal advice...Don't Buy Stuff

Don't miss any High Five Recipes!  With five ingredients or less...these recipes will make feeding your family healthy meals so simple!

Be watching for the launch of the new ebook I've been writing, Heavenly Homemaker's Guide to Gardening and Preserving!!  If all goes well, it will be finished this month and I will be adding it to my shop!

I pray that you feel as excited as I do about the role God has given you.  I LOVE being a homemaker!  Our jobs as women are so important and good.  Recently I've been struck with the beauty of Colossians chaper three.  I was planning on highlighting for you my favorite parts of this chapter...then realized that I'd like to highlight THE ENTIRE CHAPTER!!  Go take the time to read it when you can!

Keep in mind...as you wash all those dishes and do all that laundry and clean up all those messes ..."Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father though him."  Col. 3:17

Really...I have so much more to say about Colossians three.  Please take time to read it and meditate on it.  It's insiring!

God bless you as you strive with me toward our heavenly home...
Laura
