As the Town Council and staff consider how best to recruit and engage participants in the planning task forces, thought should be given to including this objective in the comprehensive visioning plan:

 

Partner with organizations across the island and the region to acquire or develop online shared service technology tools facilitating the planning, engagement, and implementation processes.

 

In particular, such tools should make it easy for organizations to align and link their objectives to the Town’s objectives.

 

As the planning process proceeds, the Town should take advantage of the opportunity to engage in co-learning by doing, in partnership with any and all interested local organizations.
