We have two primary revenue streams:

  1. Direct sales or subscription fees from consumers via a freemium model

  2. Licensing royalties from corporate partners such as camera companies and video editing companies

Since launching in February, we've been selling the Premium sku of Highlight Hunter for a one-time fee of $29. This price point has been validated by a conjoint analysis. The biggest difference between the free sku and the Premium sku is the free sku applies watermarks to the highlight clips. We're halfway through development of v2, which will provide us more opportunities to differentiate skus. There's a good chance we will move to a subscription model and split the Premium sku into two: Amateur and Pro. This will allow us to better monetize pro-level features at a much higher price point than consumers would be willing to pay.

We've also been talking with several camera companies and video editing companies about licensing deals. Ultimately we believe this will provide the best ROI for us long-term, but we understand we need to grow our user base first.
