insX or insXaa?

The current recommendation for incomplete descriptions is to use insX, but warns about in the past X has been used to indicate termination. In accordance with preferring Xaa over X should insXaa be preferred?

Dear Scott,

Sorry for the late reply, we overlooked your email.

Indeed, "Xaa" is preferred. We now see that although we recommend the
use of "Xaa" over "X" on most of the relevant pages, the given examples
still use "X". I have prepared a patch to fix the examples given on the
website. When this has passed the committee's peer review, we will
publish it on the website.
