Hi
Currently matlab-emacs dwells in sourgeforge (as a git repository). It
has been proposed to move/mirror it either to github or gitlab, because
of pull-request.
So I made an experiment. I mirrored the sourceforge repository in gitlab
g...@gitlab.com:kalthad/matlab-emacs-default.git
I made a fork
g...@gitlab.com:kalthad/matlab-emacs-default-feature.git
In that fork I created new git branch new-feature and added a relative
trivial commit.
Then I thought to add
fork = git+ssh://g...@gitlab.com:kalthad/matlab-emacs-default-feature.git
And indeed
hg in fork
Shows me

bookmark: new-feature

summary: New file explaining the use of the python engine
However when I run
hg pull -B new-feature fork
,----
| pulling from git+ssh://g...@gitlab.com:kalthad/matlab-emacs-default-feature.git
| Warning: Permanently added '
gitlab.com,172.65.251.78' (ECDSA) to the list of known hosts.

| abort: ref n$Z,.V_P5$A not found on remote server
`----
So hg pull -u fork
Works.
Any idea what is going on?

Uwe Brauer
