Scott Boyd & BT

Anyone know what happened to Scott Boyd of Breakfast Television? He
was away on "vacation" for several weeks back in March, came back for
a week or two, and then they said he was on vacation again. Now
they've brought in a new body to fill some of the time and I haven't
heard his name mentioned lately.

While Boyd was a little cloying sometimes he was a counterbalance to
the horrid Liz Rigney, the Most Annoying Woman on Television (TM
Regd.) who has been running amok the last few weeks in his absence.

Also, does anyone recall the name of the tall, kind of goofy young guy
they had on that show a few years ago doing the remotes who got let go
in one of the ATV budget cuts? Eventually they brought in Jayson
Baxter to do the same thing, and he's always seemed rather
uncomfortable with the whole schtick.

He Married an ASN News Anchor. I believe she got the shake as well.

I don't remember writing that, but heck it sounds good.
Actually Scott is married to a lovely lady, not an ASN news anchor though.
Mark, who once did the Dinner Theatre thingy with still BT Host Liz married
another Lovely lady, who anchored ASN evening News at once and a prettier
time.
For your Info, Dinner theatre performers are paid minimum wage, and they
must take part in rehearsals without being paid.
(At least one dinner theatre in Halifax)

I don't watch the show because I'm usually at work long before
it's on, but my wife watches fairly often. She says they
mentioned that Scott would be back in September, I think. We
were wondering if he's off for medical reasons. (surgery?)

Well, Scott Boyd-what happened the "pretensious 50 year ole teen
ager"...well, in my opinion, I think he got wacked and the station is
ensuring the ratings don't fall cause of him! So they hired another bimbo,
keeping the childishness of BT in concert with the teen agers demographics!

Scott was married to the pretensious ,GOLD DIGGER, attention seeking, Cape
Breton (3 dressed up as a nine!) Karen, ( a good friend of Public Works and
the legal community). I assume she married him cause of his media profile
and perceived image as a sugar daddy, not cause he was a rocket stud that
was a hot looking guy at all. I assume she dumped all her friends ( the
Ross's from the Peddlers 1 and Peddlers 2 gang( or they dumped her!) and
settled down with her movie star (famous!) - get her to the next level
type, cause she used the Ross's to the end of the highway and being a
regular patron of the bars never really advanced her ambitions much. This
is beginning to look like the story in Los Angles, the washed up movie star
(Baretta) and the gold digging wife( the victim) in the guest
house!...Gotta Run now, must call film nova scotia and plan for the filming
of the movie! Do you think we can block off Robie Street and get the cast
and crew in asap or do we have to waste away till September for the fall
season to start! Stay tuned for ATV to anounce the "Scott will not be
returning news".......or maybe , just maybe, its a medical thing to get the
summer off....after all, the wife wears the pants in that family!

Watch Frank Magazine for news of her pending divorce if Scott really did
get wacked by the TV Station....After all, what can a washed up, 50 year
ole teenager really do for her now... especially in the Halifax market!!!

CONGRATULATIONS ATV for finally waking up...if in fact you really did!

Holy!! Bitter! I thought that Scott was the only one on the show that was
worth watching... if watching at all. No matter who is on that show it is a
waste of TV time.....anyway....EnjoY

The whole show is the shits...compare it with Cityline and BT makes us all on
the east coast looking like fricken idiots.....no wonder upper canada does not
take us serious at all
