The author is a "privacy lawyer" who wrote material like this for
The National Post:

<https://nationalpost.com/opinion/allan-richarz-no-a-canadian-is-not-a-canadian-its-perfectly-fine-to-strip-citizenship-from-terrorists>

That "rag" was founded in 1998 by Conrad Black. Do you remember
him? The RWA who spent 6 years for fraud in jail in the USA, and then
Trump pardoned him after he got out and wrote a suck-up Trump article?

But before the pardon, he had long renounced his Canadian
citizenship. He had nowhere to go but England. As a conviced flelon, he
was being kicked out of the USA. He wasn't a Canadian. He was a
British subject only. But Jason Kenny (then one of Harper's ministers)
let him back into Canada for 1 (one) year around 2014 on some kind of
temporary ministerial rule . . . and he's still here! But he had to give
his Order of Canada medal back . . . an exemplary, upstanding citizen .
. . NOT!

The musings of Conrad Black (and anyone RWA associated with him)
are not worth the time to read.

I posted it as an exercise in how a string of false statements
and bad logic can be made to look "reasonable".

I know about Conrad Black and you assessment of him is spot on.

The post was an example of bad reasoning. The "Wow!" was an expression
of how bad RWA "arguments" can get and surprise that the CBC would
publish it without comment.

I got that, James. Please, in this thread, I am not trolling. It was
a good chance to take a poke at Conrad Black, The Barron of <something in
England > who is an embarrassment to Canada.

The National Post. I guess we have enough crazies here in Canada to
keep stuff like that going. :-)
