I've set up duplicate sites. (Sorry for the ads.)

you should reduce the size of your photos and perhaps only link them from an
index page, that way people only have to load the ones they want to see.
And maybe a main page that outlines problems instead of just showing a bunch
of photos.
Looks to me like the building was still under construction while people were
moving in... didnt anyone have a look at a finished apartment before
signing a lease? get some construction timelines in writing? actually talk
to the building owners about how long it'll take to finish construction?
seems like a case of poor communication between the owners and the new
tenants... are you paying reduced rent while the construction is going on?
the fact that you cant even use the underground parking spot you're paying
for would be a good example of a refund possibility...

Weird.
From the pictures you have on the site the place was in that condition
when you signed the lease. Wasn't that a dead give-a-way ? Looks
like the building owner ran out of money and is completing it based on
the rental income. In this case first impressions are something to go
by - why would you move into a place like that ?
Just a note on going legal with this - and it seems from your
correspondance with the landlord posted on the site that you are going
to proceed ( if you threaten it you should be prepared to do it ) -
lose all the emotional stuff. It doesn't help your case.
You have more than enough "evidence" to get out of your lease and get
all monies back, provided the landlord doesn't go bankrupt before you
do. The aggrevation that is obvious on your website is not worth any
preceived value you may have for living there. Cut your loses and get
out. As for making the world safe from sleazy landlords/owners its a
losing battle. If HRM and the Province are not able to bring them to
heel you would be just making your own life miserable by chasing them
- that is unless you have very deep pockets indeed and all the time in
the world to make this a crusade.
In the future remember what the old Italians used to say,
Let the buyer beware.

I don't know how many buildings the Ghosn's own in metro and if they
have the same kinds of issues.. I have friends that live in one of his
buildings at 6028 Lady Hammond (behind Tim Hortons). Themselves and
other tenants of that building are quite frustrated with the (lack of)
maintenance that goes on there. The parking lot by the door is a
permanent lake, flooding a few of the parking spots (1 to 3 inches of
water).. There is a huge "pit" in the center of the property for
drainage they say, surrounded by an enclosing fence which is an
eyesore since it was half-demolished by the wind and the snowplows
this winter. Garbage dumpsters overflowing, driveway barely plowed at
all in the wintertime. I was told that the heating system was down a
few times for "repair" recently, which sounds suspiciously like "no
pay bills on time, no oil delivery on time" to me.
For a building only five-ish years old, it's in hard shape. It's a
shame, as it is (was) a nice building in a super location.. On the
good side, the super they have is outstanding, one of the best I've
seen.

If I were you, I would find a new place to live and I would file under small
claims court for refunds of every cent paid to the landlords and would also
have the VW professionally cleaned or repainted if that's required and
include those costs as well. Make a detailed and very accurate list. Do not
"pad" it. Make every cost completely legitimate... of course there's a limit
for small claims... $2K? Anyway - you've been screwed around and
mistreated - get what you can out of the situation and then move and start
over. BTW - this is one of the reasons I prefer living in homes 50 or more
years old. Also remember that sometimes it's better to just cut your
losses... it's a matter of setting priorities and choosing battles... but
you already know this I am sure.
Good luck!
