It was awesome to wake up this morning with the snain pelting the roof
and the interior toasty from the ooooold propane furnace. Here's the pic:

*** I hope its roof is snain proof and that you have a CO detector. (-:

Snain proof? :-)
Cool, new word to me, I'll remember that.
It's the Winnie's built-in propane furnace - it has its own flue and
combustion air supply so it's good. You can see it - it's tall (but
it's only about 5" deep) at the extreme right side here:

*** Still, in such a confined space, a detector would be a good
investment.
Richard
I'm gonna puke
Ditto, nothing better than waking up to a hairy arse with a bunch of
black grapes hanging out of it caused by bum-fucking from a queer
photographer, staring you in the face inside a 40yr old shed.
Hmmm, fancy cheese for breakfast my queer new man, then chew on my
foreskin with the shit still clinging to it.
Oops, did i come across(your back/face) as homophobic?
A little delicate are we Jack? :)

You know a lot about this, don't you? :)
Naa James, just a very vivid imagination. :)
It's like the loveshack for homeless gay people.
Why do you imagine such things? :)

And no surprises I don't munch assholes either!! And as for you,you
old cow, how about stop hiding behind a fake eye-tye name and putting
up your SCOTTISH name so that all the old grannies can see you for who
you really are.
I'm not hiding anything.
Many of my customers are gay but they don't ram it down my
throat,pardon the pun!!!
PS,according to the wee scottish granny here, ALL,REPEAT ALL,car
salespersons are shit. She must take the bus,and we know what bus
drivers are like,eh?
So this elderly italian/scottish woman walks into an automobile
showroom and a salesperson walks up to her an welcomes her to the
dealership.
"Fuck off", she replies,"you must be a scottish homophobic
asshole to work here."
The salesperson replies,'So,you're looking for a job,eh?"
Guid for you auld quinie,I widn't tak my cars to O'Regan's either. Kin
ye spik doric at a?
Well, then don't go camping with gay guys? Seems simple enough.
Cheers,
John
I didn't want to read it either John. I don't mind the photos he
posts. Unless he show's 'Up at the crack of don"
No kidding. The (maybe not so) straight guy certainly imagines (or is that
dreams?) quite a bit about the man on man action in the woods.
Not at all...have seen my share of blood and guts over the years...it
just makes me nauseous ...
You're kind of sad and pathetic in that way. Seriously, grow a ball
and stop hassling people like a bully. Grow up, eh?
could be...have this small growth on my abdomen...started about 2 years
ago...(or could be old age...)
Huh ?? WTF are you going on about ??
yes Mommy..now pls fuck off
Donna I apologize to you for tell you to FO...I'm sorry...sincerely...
My opinion on a lifestyle is mine..call it bigoted, call it traditional,
call it whatever you wish..I will not apologize for my opinion on
this..ever.
Normally its the lefties who resort to name-calling when they don't
agree...you've confirmed it. Thanks
Normal behaviour versus abnormal behaviour, Jack.
*Norm* is the same as *normal*. It is a good thing that a larger
percentage of the population is straight (AKA normal) or else there
would be either no people left on the planet or a very small population
of us existing today.
A smaller population might in fact be a good thing.
--
jw (a.k.a. Nagilum)
Maybe there's an increasing prevalence of homosexuality as nature's
way of slowing population growth. Then again that would mean genetic
material is "aware" and somehow knows the current population figures.
Or is there some other way? I am just speculating for fun.
It works in rats. High density living conditions decreases fertility and
increases homosexuality rates. It was explained by the effects of stress in
the brain. Its a vague memory. Maybe a google search will find it.
--
jw (a.k.a. Nagilum)
*** Cool speculation, but I believe homosexuality rates are the same as they
always were, but people are more tolerant nowadays. Back in the day, even
people you suspected were gay didn't generally admit.
Rock Hudson kept it under wraps for years.
So you are ok with polygamy ?? Bestiality ? Child porn ?? Those can
be argued as lifestyles as well.
If you don't stand for something, you stand for nothing.
Same could be said of AIDS..what better population control in Africa?
Droughts, famines, floods and diseases are all population controls as
well. Even wars can be considered a control.
I dunno. To me sexual behaviour and a disease look a little different.
--
jw (a.k.a. Nagilum)
It's a sign of a maladjusted personality - a psychological issue. I
think one day scientists will discover a genetic connection. Meanwhile
all we can do is try to be tolerant toward homophobes and other people
haters and hope they live out their lifestyle without trying to push
the agenda too far, especially around children.

No I don't. I guess I should have been more precise and said sexual orientation.
I stand corrected. But, then again, the orientation usually leads to the
behaviour. :)

Absolutely right!
I think you are onto something here. I learned at an early age to think
opposite. People often mean exactly the opposite of the message they try
to project. They think they are protecting themselves from suspicion. But
they overdo it and create suspicion instead.
Listen ye dried up old twat, that crap about the "people who do
protest too much" because they might really want their arseholes
reamed by "Big Dick" or their pussies eaten by a woman with a short/
back and side haircut and wearing male clothes ais so much shite.
Tell me did the people who protested the ww2 death camps
really, instead, wanted to help the germans throw a few jews on the
barby.
According to the dictionary; Conforming with or constituting a norm or
standard or level or type or social norm; not abnormal
So you can see that *norm* and *normal* are the same thing.
Not me..just have a gander at a gay "pride" parade...
You. like many with the 'agenda" love to resort to name calling ?? Did
I call them fags? fudge-packers? dykes? etc? No...so why do "you guys" ??
I haven't seen one in person, but judging from what I have seen on television,
I would be good for a laugh at least. They do seem to be having fun don't they?

I might not agree with your delivery, but your argument is spot-on.
More appropriately, its what *they* call a good time. Its no sweat off
my balls. How about you?
--
jw (a.k.a. Nagilum)
Why does the sexuality of others make you so uncomfortable? Your
delicate sense of decorum and propriety comes across as the moral
stand of a prudish church person.
Why do gay supporters call people who don't like the gay lifestyle,
immediately call them "homophobes"?
> I might not agree with your delivery, but your argument is spot-on.
I think Dan makes posts like this exact one on purpose, to get results
just like what is happening here. He comes in here, stirs the pot, and
leaves just as quick. He obviously doesn't want to discuss his over
night camping trip even though he took the time to make the original post.
I liked some of his photos... nice sunsets, the "Winnie"... my slant on
things is that it's his lifestyle, not mine, so whatever floats your
"Winnie" I guess. :)
I don't see it that way at all. He posted a picture of the camper and
one photo in the series had friends in it. Then he followed up with a
technical detail about the furnace. Dan posts about his hobbies and
projects on a regular basis. Sewing machines, apple cider, cooking,
the birth of Internet in Halifax, and so on. It seems perfectly
reasonable that he would refrain from discussing comments like "I'm
gonna puke" and the other hateful things people sometimes post as
personal attacks. I don't see how posting a link to a photo of his
camper is stirring up any pots.
I don't know if you're referring to me, but I pipe up anyway, not as a
"gay supporter" whatever that is. I speak up when people use hateful
language about someone like Dan who I know to be a really good,
intelligent, and community minded individual. It has nothing to do
with his sexual orientation. I just don't care all that much about it.
It's not important to me and I really don't understand why some folks
get so worked up about it and take the time to lash out at him. It's
bizarre and pointless.
Right on Rick. That's the stuff!
Right on Rick. That's the stuff!
-------------------
Both my wife and I have had the pleasure of meeting Dan in person... he's an
intelligent, likeable fellow. People's sexual orientation is their business
not mine, so I try to judge people on merit.
> Both my wife and I have had the pleasure of meeting Dan in person...

Rick, I didn't mean to imply that Dan wasn't an intelligent, likeable
fellow if you and your wife ever had the pleasure of meeting him in
person. I apologize for any confuse that my observation may have cause
in that respect. He does indeed come off as being an intelligent,
likeable fellow.
It just seems odd that it always turn out this way. Queers, queer
bashing, queers, queer bashing, it's the same thread with a different
subject line. There must be something to it, maybe it really is
"people's sexual orientation?"
People's sexual orientation is
> their business not mine, so I try to judge people on merit.
People's sexual orientation is largely over rated, I'm trying to learn
this over the years. I used to be what they are quick to label as
"homophobic" as in I didn't believe to was right or natural, but then I
thought to myself that love was natural.
> I liked some of his photos... nice sunsets, the "Winnie"... my slant on

Actually I like his photos very much. Lifestyle? Yeah, that too.
I'm sure none of this fazes Dan either - he's been here on Usenet for a
while, and I don't recall him ever responding to a mean thing ever said
about him. That takes strength of character, and an ability to rise above
the pettiness.

Love is natural, no matter what kind of package it comes in. I just happen
to be attracted to the opposite sex, that's all. :-)

Really though, how big of an accomplishment is rising above pettiness,
particularly on Usenet? Alright, RJNS excluded.

Pervert!
Its the sensible thing to do Rick.
lol, uh-oh, someone struck a nerve :-)

It comes from basic dog training (which also works for guys) - a dog
would rather be rewarded than punished, but it would rather be punished
than ignored.
Yay Sister. To each his own.

Justin side Jack has a nice "ring" to it.
That "you" John...you might not care about your country, home, society,
etc..some of us do. You are entitled to your opinion...as are the rest
of us.
What bible...? I am frickin atheist..always have been..at least since
I was 6 years old...
In you opinion..and of those in concert with the agenda..It used to be
called "the big lie"
so, you can give it but can't take it ?? typical
If "Justin" is a hot chick...go for it..make sure its a nice room tho..

Wuss! You'd be surprised at how warm and cozy a camper or small camp can
be in "the middle of a snowstorm".
